Novice/Intermediate Agility
6 one-hour class sessions Prerequisites: Intro to Agility I & II (or equivalent skills) Go to list of all courses to learn more about prerequisite class(es)
When you have made it through the Introductory levels and your dog is familiar with all the obstacles, it is time to hone your skills – both for your dog and yourself. Welcome to Novice and Intermediate Agility. This class offers “nested” courses at different levels, so handlers who know the basics or who are more advanced can still run and improve using slightly different routes on the same course equipment. As an example, at Novice level you will work on getting those weaves straight up; at Intermediate, you will work on hitting those weave entrances from distance and various angles. This class will only have 6 students maximum so each team gets personalized instruction. You will build your handling toolbox and practice many different types of turns and crosses, and learn when to use each one for the most streamlined runs. And yes, it is a BLAST!!
This class is best suited for: Teams who have built value for jumps and practiced with the basic (but lower) equipment.
Min/Max Enrollment: 3/6
