Beginning Weave Pole Skills
6 one-hour sessions PREREQUISITE: Beginning Obstacle Skills (can be taken concurrently) Go to list of all courses to learn more about prerequisite class(es)
Weave Poles are one of the most exciting agility obstacles to see dogs perform. Since weaving is not something that dogs do naturally outside of agility, it is a skill that needs special focus and training. In this class, students will use either the channel method or 2x2 method - whichever method best suits each particular team.
Special Notes: The skills in this class are done off leash. Modifications for weaving will be made for young dogs (under 14 months).
This class is best suited for: those who want to progress in agility classes, by having their dog able to go through “open” channel or 2x2 weaves.
