A beginning course introducing your team to many pieces of agility equipment and basic handler moves. While on a course sequence you will learn to start conquering the low dog walk, low teeter, and weaves spread apart. You will build the beginning skills of finding the weave pole entrance, gaining speed and commitment as you run.  Skills with weaves and the teeter are built inch by inch with weekly adjustments so your dog becomes confident. Other agility items and skills include the table, tunnels, and various types of jumps, all tailored to fit the beginning agility dog and keep class fun.  Start learning to be a true team with your dog while having a blast running Beginning Agility. Novice 1 can be repeated as many times as you wish. (You can move to Novice 2 when your dog can run the low teeter with confidence.)

Special Notes:  Many of the skills in this class are done off leash. Special accommodations will be made for young dogs whose growth plates may not be closed yet.

This class is best suited for:  Teams absolutely new to agility, or for training a new agility dog (even if you are an advanced handler).  It is also good for teams who have taken a few classes but haven't practiced in a long time.  Novice 1 can be repeated as often as you like so you get good at all it offers.
